Supervision, mentoring, coaching and psychotherapy

Online sessions

We all need some space and time to think about our lives, our relationships, our past, and our mental health. Whether there are changes happening at home or work, or whether you and your family are struggling with your mental health, the professional services of a psychotherapist may help.

I am a registered psychotherapist (group analyst and psychodynamic psychotherapist) with extensive experience in mental health. I am a fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and a member of the British Psychoanalytic Council. I am also a member of the Institute of Group Analysis (London) and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

My areas of psychotherapeutic practice include psychodynamic psychotherapy, group analytic psychotherapy, eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR), mentalization-based treatment, organisational consultancy, and clinical supervision.

I offer virtual sessions using Zoom.

If you think we might work well together, I'd love to hear from you.

Feel free to get in touch for an informal conversation.

Services

Supervision for BPC, UKCP and BACP psychotherapists and counsellors, and HCPC psychologists

Supervision helps professionals provide safe, effective, and thoughtful care. It offers a dedicated space to reflect on clinical work — including the deeper aspects of the therapeutic relationship and any blind spots that might come up.

Research shows that good supervision improves both practitioner insight and client outcomes.

I provide clinical supervision for professionals from all backgrounds, including those in training. Sessions can be arranged individually or in groups, and are tailored to meet your specific needs.

Mentoring and coaching for doctors, health and education professionals

Mentoring and coaching give doctors, healthcare and educational professionals a chance to reflect, build emotional insight, and develop the skills needed to deliver safe, effective care.

These approaches support clinicians and educators in managing the emotional demands of healthcare and education — improving patient care and the student experience while also looking after their own wellbeing.

Coaching is structured and goal-focused. It often supports career development, leadership, and confident decision-making.

Mentoring is more open and reflective. It helps you explore the connection between your personal values, professional identity, and the challenges that arise at those crossroads.

Both mentoring and coaching can strengthen communication, resilience, and reflective practice — with benefits for individuals, teams, and the wider system.

I offer both, tailored to your unique goals and needs.

Psychotherapy

I can help with conditions and issues such as depression; anxiety; personality disorder; eating disorders; relationship problems; loss and bereavement; stress, trauma and abuse; or perhaps even just a vague feeling of dissatisfaction with your life.

I have particular interests in the mental health of health and social work professionals; medically unexplained symptoms; ageing; sexual and gender diversity; and living with long-term physical health conditions. My field of practice, however, is not solely limited to these areas.

I can provide individual and group-based therapies on a short or long term basis depending on your needs. Sessions are typically weekly, but this can be negotiated during the initial consultation assessment.
